Having gotten a Kindle for Christmas I set out to find the perfect case. All I needed was something simple. Something that would protect the Kindle if I left it laying around the house. I didn't need storage for the charger cables. I did need one that I could open and close easily, but that would stay securely closed when not in use. One that wouldn't interfere with the Kindle in any way if I actually wanted to use it. After looking around for a day or two, I choose to go with this one. And I'm not sorry that I did.
None of the buttons were covered and yet the Kindle is held firmly in place (I tried to shake it loose to be sure this thing would be secure -- it wasn't going to let go of my Kindle that easily). If you want to set your "book" in front of you, there's a stand connected to the back of the case which allows you to do this (alternatively they sell a book style of the case). You can, of course, keep the stand folded down and out of your way as well. Also on the back, there are vents over the speakers, allowing for clear use of the sound features of your Kindle.

My Kindle has been covered with the Javoedge flip case for about two months and I couldn't be more pleased. The case fits perfectly and is well made. I particularly like the magnetic closure. I was a little nervous about a fabric cover but I find I like the feel better than the leather case I had previously. The Kindle is well protected against drops. The flip style makes it easy to prop the Kindle up while eating.
The only caveat would be the misnaming of the color. I saw no Blue in "Ocean Blue". To me it looked green. Customer service at Javoedge exchanged it for a cocoa (dark brown) case with no problem.

Love the product. It has style and is very functional with a snug fit. The magnetic closure is great and the cut out for the speakers in the rear is not noticalbe yet functions very well for those of you that utilize the listenting portion of the kindle. I am impressed and Love it!

I travel a lot and this cover meets all my needs -- it is lightweight, the leather is nicely finised and sturdy, and this has the easel/flip leg attribute I was seeking. While on the road, I often read while dining. I can set this up on the table, eat my dinner, and keep reading without being all hunched over. I also like the flip top for simple comfort while holding it and reading. My friend has a stiffer leather bookfold cover and hers is rather unwieldy to hold for long periods of time, as the opened cover keeps pushing on your hands.
There is a lightweight magnet in a corner of the front cover that keeps this closed when not in use; likewise, there are snaps to hold the easel leg solidly against the back cover when not in use. I carry this kindle in my briefcase and my purse, and have never had an issue with the cover slipping or opening inadvertently.
This is an all around great product and worth every penny!

I love my Kindle but not its sterile look. The JAVOedge cover is attractive, feminine and stylish. I love knowing that my Kindle looks beautiful AND is safe shoved in my purse. I also appreciate the ability to stand the Kindle while eating. I don't do this often - my three little ones do not make for peaceful meals - but when I do I feel decadent!
