I purchased the remote/reciever and an extra reciever. I got this in the mail yesterday. I hooked it up and fired a handful of test shots. Works fine! Great price!

The device seems relatively well constructed for its purpose. The battery compartment is a little difficult to access due to the plastic material the device is made from. The kit does come with adapter plugs that can fit into a strobe unit and is small and light weight. Swtiches on the unit allow you you to designate which strobe may be firing, from the sending unit. The unit works reliably well at 10-12 feet. Regretably, Cowboy studio fails to include instructions with this product.
