I needed a nice short cable to connect to an 2.5" external drive. This was perfect. If you're looking for the same thing, remember, this won't power the drive like a USB connection does... you'll still need power from something else. The good news is with this cable, transfer is a lot faster!

This cable works as advertised, and is solidly constructed. Connected from a HP EX490 MediaSmart Server to a WD MyBook and got about 60 MB/s transfer speed. Satisfied with purchase.
