This video card is great for the price! Not sure about how it handles pc games because it was used in a computer for my young niece. But for what she needs it for it's great.

Purchased this item because the on-board HDMI output failed on my Gateway computer. It was cheaper and easier than shipping computer for repair, even under warranty. Installation was easy and included the plate-adapter for low-profile installation. Instructions and software are very user friendly. Improved performance and picture on our LCD wide screen monitor. Speed of computer and video is a bit greater due to 512k memory on video card. We're not gamers so can't really can't comment on that. No complaints. Does a great job for the price.

I initially purchased an NVIDIA EVGA 9400GT. It just plain wouldn't work. I couldn't even read the bios fonts when I attempted to install. Unfortunately I coudn't determine if the adapter is incompatible with my DEll inspiration 530 or if there is a problem with that adapter itself.
This ATI card installed and initialized without any trouble. The software installed without a hitch. The video is considerably peppier than the on-board graphics controller. Gaming - well that's for someone else to review.

I ordered this board because it was the cheapest with short bracket. I use WIN XP, and let the OS install the drivers from companion CD rather than using the CD install utilities. It took about 2 minuets and it was good to go.

Feels like i should have bought this card a long time ago. I can run all of my old games (Need For Speed series, Rome Total War, Civilization 4, Battlefield 2) on really high settings, I can even play the Sims 3 on high. If your not into the newest games out there, and just play video games to pass the time, you should definitely buy this card. Or u can stay with your current card that lags and freezes at times. Be aware that this is not the best card out there, and that your processor also dictates whether or not your games run well. I have an AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.4 Ghz, not the best processor out, but still out there fighting. WINDOWS XP FOREVER!!!
