I bought this as a quick replacement for a misplaced charger. It looked fine in the photo but little did I realize that this is not made for the AV 500. It might work fine with the Gmini but don't get it for the AV 500. The lead for the power is on the same side as the port and there isn't enough room to plug both the usb and power at the same time since the av 500 has them side by side and the lead is directly above the power port when usb is connected. I'm very unhappy but stuck with my mistake. Again, if you have at least a half inch space between the usb port and the power port, you'll be fine.
